I am professor of education at the Department of Teacher Education, University of Helsinki. I lead the ‘Learning Futures’ research group at the department and act as the national co-ordinator for NordLAC, Nordic Research Network on Researching Learning Across Contexts. My research focuses on participatory and inclusive pedagogies, children, media and creativity, learner agency and identity, sociocultural processes of learning and wellbeing across contexts as well as visual methodologies.
