We are a human-centered community of learners.
Jessica Pilgreen
I earned my B.S. in English Education in 2002, and have been a proud and passionate secondary teacher ever since. I am constantly pushing myself to learn and grow in my instructional practices, which has led to earning an M.A. in English, achieving National Board Teacher Certification, and becoming involved with the Piasa Bluffs Writing Project. In my spare time, I enjoy writing poetry and blogging about educational technology (meandmylaptop.com).
Involvement with the Cultural Landscapes Collaboratory has been the most rewarding and most transformative professional development experience of my career. I am honored to be part of such a diverse community of innovative professionals. The CoLab provides me with continued opportunities to network with other teachers, to collaboratively design effective pedagogy, and to reflect on my own practices. For me, being a part of this culture of teachers-teaching- teachers continues to be a very rewarding experience.
