We are a human-centered community of learners.

Meredith Murray

7th Grade English/Language Arts teacher is my title, and instilling foundations for inquiry, innovation, and social responsibility is my pursuit. I became an educator in 2006, and completed a M.S. in Educational Leadership with an emphasis in Learning, Culture, and Society in 2010. I develop and grow through my instructional approach and curricular choices, as a member of the district-wide Character Education Committee, and as the sponsor of the Student Council Leadership Team. In summer 2011 I found the Piasa Bluffs Writing Project, and I continued my education as a Writing Project Fellow in the two following years, completing courses such as Teacher Leadership and Teaching in the 21st Century. Now, as a member of the Cultural Landscapes Collaboratory, I am privileged to interact with and learn from professional educators representing diverse learning communities; and even more privileged to serve the CoLab as a team-leader, empowering educators with theories and approaches to learning.
