In Fall 2011, the St. Louis community experienced a once-in-a-lifetime event to partake in an exhibit of a tryptich of Monet's Waterlillies. CoLab's Drs. Mike Murawski, and, Ralph Córdova enacted an Inquiry Into My Practice (IIMP) involving 30 local educators interacting with and learning from the Waterlillies as an interactive textual experience.

 

Educators witnessed how to harness ResponsiveDesign's explore, envision, enact habits of mind to transform an ordinary museum experience, into an extraordinary one that required of the learners to draw on diverse disciplinary practices of observing, describing, representing through sound and movement, sketching, writing and composing poetry.
